Snowfall warning issued for South Peace & Pine Pass

first_img9:04 PM PDT Sunday 07 September 2014Snowfall warning in effect for:B.C. South Peace RiverCurrent details: Snowfall, with total amounts of about 10 cm is expected. An early season snowfall is currently under way in the region. 10cm snow can be expected tonight closer to the Rocky Mountains with lesser amounts likely near Dawson Creek.Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio.
