Croatia Airlines and Asiana Airlines signed an agreement on code share cooperation

first_imgCroatian and Korean national airlines Croatia Airlines and Asiana Airlines, both members of the world’s largest airline association Star Alliance, have signed an agreement on code share cooperation.By concluding this agreement and building a joint product, both companies expect an even better positioning in the highly competitive passenger transport market between Croatia and South Korea. As part of this cooperation, Croatia Airlines will provide passengers with connecting flights via Frankfurt, London and Paris to Seoul, and from Seoul via the above-mentioned European hubs to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik.Asiana Airlines is an airline based in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, which also has the most modern Airbus A350 aircraft in its fleet. From Seoul, it operates flights to 63 destinations around the world (North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia) and carries nearly 20,000.000 passengers annually. “We are glad that our service within this cooperation has become even more accessible to Korean tourists, who in recent years have been a leader in increasing the number of Asian tourists in Croatia. This is another example by which global airlines recognize the quality of Croatia Airlines service and direct their passengers to our flights as partner companies. ” said Jasmin Bajić, President of the Management Board of Croatia Airlines on the occasion of the signing code share contract.Code share Croatia Airlines and Asiana Airlines flights are an additional benefit for passengers from the Korean market, which is expected in Croatia this year almost 500.000, as well as passengers from Croatia due to the fact that the 23rd Winter Olympics are held in Pyeongchang, Korea in February 2018.Croatia Airlines, which operates regional flights in Europe, has made its flights available outside Europe as part of such cooperation.
