Putin-Modi annual bilateral meet: S-400 missile deal on top agenda

Defence deals including the purchase of the five S-400 air defence systems between India and Russia are likely to top the agenda during Putin’s two-day visit.The Rs 39,000 crore deal is for acquiring five S-400 air defence systems and would be signed during Putin’s annual bilateral meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Ministry officials said.During the meeting, the two countries will discuss ways of further expanding the strategic partnership and exchange opinions on current international and regional issues.
